Meet the Team

If you’re looking for trainers with serious style impact, but that don’t compromise on ethics, Lerins is the brand for you.

Designed in London and made in Portugal, say hello to the creatives behind our new British brand - bringing sustainable style to your summer wardrobe.

Lerins London founder and CEO Daniel Rubin

Daniel Rubin | Our Founder & CEO

Founder and CEO, Daniel Rubin, has a passion for shoes (and has been involved in the footwear industry for longer than he cares to imagine).

For 10 years he owned a women’s fashion footwear manufacturer in London before building one of the largest designers and importers of footwear in the UK supplying major retailers with private label product. In 1992 he founded the footwear brand Dune.

For Daniel, the Lerins project is a mission to create a contemporary, stylish and comfortable trainer. A trainer that’s made from sustainable materials, in a European factory that shares his values of quality, craft and commitment to making the manufacturing process more eco-friendly.

“Apart from its sustainability credentials we wanted to create a product that is really versatile. That can be dressed up or down. The vibrant colour options give it a contemporary twist that truly sets it apart.”
